Community Open Source Projects
When you're ready to start your open source project for the RBX1600, let us know! We'll see if we can help and we'll also happily list it here. Check back often to see what cool, new stuff is on the way!

LAMP: Library Access to Music Project at MIT
LAMP is a free music streaming system for MIT students using 16 audio channels on the campus cable system. They've hooked up a network of 10(!) RBX1600's to control the jukeboxes for students to build their own half hour "radio show" rips through a web interface. Find out more at the LAMP and iCampus sites, or the feature article at LinuxDevices.

Help Wanted
There are lots of new directions you could take the RBX1600 and we look forward to seeing what you'll come up with. There are a few areas where we would suggest that you consider, and not all of them require programming knowledge:
- New Features - What is that one feature that you long for? I'll bet someone else wants it too.
- Hardware Hacking - Re-purpose the box in software or take advantage of our hardware HackPoints (display headers, USB port, etc.) that we installed just for you to play with.
- Graphics - Have an idea for a new GUI skin? Or a new GUI concept? Surprise us!
- Kill Bugs - We're stomping on them (in a culturally sensitive and organic way, of course) but your kind help is always appreciated. In the trailblazing and somewhat terrifying practice of TRULY being an open systems company, you'll soon be able to see our current bugs on-line in Bugzilla.
- Documentation - Documentation always seems to trail the excitement of a new idea. Your help in improving the documentation of our releases or third party projects is always welcome.
